Who they are: Plantain Kitchen is a West African food stall, that previously operated out of Peckham Levels before they had to leave.
What they needed: They wanted to relaunch after hitting a wall with their business, where they had seen their sales fall due to a lack of footfall at the venue. They had just secured a weekly spot at the Canada Water market and a whole summer of festivals booked, so Toby needed to grow awareness to his brand locally and gain new customers.
What we did: We decided with Toby that the best way to get exposure as he relaunched was to do a video food review. We went straight down that Sunday, shot it and ran it on all our social media channels. It gained over 14k views in total and lots of positive comments.
What they said: “In terms of the delivery and attention to detail, Isabel hit every aspect for me and my small business.
“The coverage offline and online has seen a huge lift in awareness across our social media platforms and has brought new customers to our stand.
“I thoroughly enjoyed the high energy and it was done pretty swiftly to such a high level.
“I will look to do more PR as it’s something I’ve done for the first time and my business is on the up from it.”
